Walk around Bled lake
A walk around Lake Bled on the 6 km trail is a must! The path takes you across paved roads, gravel trails, and wooden boardwalks above the water. You can start the walk at any point you like. You can also choose to climb some viewpoints accessible from the trail around the lake. We recommend Straža and Ojstrica. Straža is a smaller hill perfect for a pleasant walk. It’s considered the most beautiful viewpoint in Bled, offering vistas of Lake Bled, the castle, Jelovica, and Stol. The steep but short trail to Ojstrica above Velika Zaka takes about 20 minutes and rewards you with stunning views of Lake Bled, the castle, Savska plain, Stol, Begunjščica, and Storžič.

Your time on the island is unlimited, and you can return with the first available pletna or by electric motorboat.
